Big Brother: Shooting Gallery (Polish: Strzelnica DJ-ów) is a fan-made Flash game based on the first Polish edition of Big Brother.

Note: This game is entirely in Polish.

About the author

The game was created by Marek Lewszyk during the run of the first Polish season of Big Brother. Marek trained as an engineer and got more seriously into computer graphics in 1999, after completing a multimedia course. He did an internship at an advertising agency in Munich, where he created websites, Flash animations and advertising projects.

In his spare time he tried his hand at illustration, multimedia projects and games. While working on BB Shooting Gallery he was employed at a major TV station, dedicating his free time to graphic design. His tools included Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Macromedia Director and Cinema 4D.

Gameplay

Level one

Several challenges await you. The first level involves throwing tomatoes at portraits of the Big Brother girls. You earn extra points by hitting a chicken or an active camera, while hitting the guys costs you points.

As a bonus you can top up your score by taking part in an intellectual duel with the guys.

In the second level you catch Snickers bars thrown by Klaudiusz - other chocolate bars cost you points.

After finishing the game you received a code. You could email it to enter the high score table on www.bigbrat.prv.pl.

Lost version

The most widely distributed version of the game, spread across the internet and by word of mouth, was version 1.5.2. It contains only two levels, so most players never got to play cards with Grzegorz. The third level didn’t appear until version 2.0.2 - the latest version I have found.

Few people know that two further releases existed. Version 2.1.0 added a fourth level, and 2.1.1 fixed bugs. Neither of them survived in web.archive.org and both are currently lost.

The fourth level is a shooting duel between Alicja and Klaudiusz in the Wild West.
